Our Mission
The Global Mobility Executive’s mission is to provide senior Global Mobility & HR leaders the platforms to discuss challenges, corporate strategy, industry trends and share experience in private, collaborative, peer to peer environments. Our platforms of content, events, research, benchmarking and continual engagement enables us to inspire dialogue and empower senior Global Mobility and HR professionals to come together to share, listen, learn and grow.
A recurring theme we identified following many conversations with Senior HR & Global Mobility practitioners was the need to provide platforms for Executives to explore more strategic topics in more depth within a focused and interactive setting
The Team

Shaun Griggs
Founder & Managing Director
Shaun is often described as the glue that holds the team at Joseph & Co together. Since being schooled at Europe’s # 1 Centre for Events Management Shaun has delivered over 200 global corporate events spanning over 14 years whilst developing an extensive network of influencers. When he’s not hiking, playing football, practicing Muay Thai or off on one of his motorbike adventures you’ll find him in the kitchen cooking up a storm.

Alex Felstead
Co-Founder & Director
With over a decade in business development and sales, Alex is a commercially driven individual specialising in generating new business and developing market strategy. With a career founded in publishing and business consultancy, Alex has focused almost exclusively in the HR, Global Mobility, and IT sectors. This has enabled him to gain a wealth of experience, market knowledge and an extensive network of contacts.
Alex prides himself on understanding what his client’s needs and challenges are and always strives to meet their objectives. As a keen fitness enthusiast and foodie Alex can either be found in the gym, eating mountains of food or by the pool with an ultra-tight pair of shorts on.
He’s also a seasoned traveller having visited over 30 countries, he loves experiencing new cultures, meeting new people and sampling the local cuisine.

Mandy Farmer
Director of Strategic Relationships
Mandy is a result driven consultant who is focused on achieving targets and has eleven years’ experience delivering corporate events within the UK and cross Europe.
Mandy underpins our bespoke division, delivering qualified appointments & closed-door events for clients, helping them engage and gain new business within enterprise firms.
She loves hosting dinner parties, entertaining friends and family and going to the theatre. Barbecues are a must in the summer in the Farmer household, sitting on the decking and watching her Koi Carp.

Soraya Appleby
Senior Consultant & Event Manager
Soraya is our goal orientated, target driven and straight-talking yogi. Her background is in recruitment having worked for a number of high profile agency’s, landing several prestigious awards along the way.
Soraya works at lightening pace and is extremely hands on when it comes to event delivery and ensuring our stakeholders are well looked after.
Soraya’s passions are animal welfare, looking after the elderly members of her community and keeping fit. She is also currently working towards becoming a yoga instructor.

Sheeba Abraham
International Partnership & Membership Manager
A total people’s person with a penchant for orderliness, Sheeba has many years of diverse experience in HR, Global Mobility and Corporate Relations.
Having worked in India, Sheeba has consulted with many Multinational Corporates on global mobility, expat assignments and destination services.
She has in-depth knowledge of the Indian market and has an extensive network of contacts. Sheeba now lives in the UK as an expat and is gaining a unique experience of living that life. She is a voracious reader and an avid chef and baker.
She is well known amongst family and friends for the lovely intimate gatherings that she hosts at home. She loves to travel, meet new people, experience new cultures and learn about their hist

Charlie Dabney
Head of Operations
With a focus on Global Mobility, HR, and Corporate Events, Charlie’s focus is creating stimulating environments for executives to share challenges and experiences whilst generating new and lasting relationships. She is enthusiastic and self-motivated and loves to learn! Charlie loves the events industry which is the perfect match for her organisational skills and as a mum of 2 boys (three if you include the husband) she’s always on the go.
Charlie enjoys being out in the countryside, climbing trees, playing games and generally finding ways to keep her kids entertained as well as travelling. With a passion for food, Charlie loves experimenting with a variety of cuisines and hosting wine fueled dinner parties with friends and family. This all being said, she always makes space for her precious “me” time.

Debbie Convery
SPHR, GMS - Advisory Board Member
Debbie Convery, GMS, SPHR is the Director of Global Mobility at Peloton Interactive. She is an expert across all global mobility pillars including relocation, immigration and tax. Her responsibilities include ensuring Mobility programs align with business imperatives and enable the talent strategy, while maximizing effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Debbie has over 15 years of HR experience including prior roles at Nike, Amazon, T-Mobile and Starbucks. In addition to Mobility, Debbie has an extensive background in Talent Acquisition.
Debbie graduated from George Fox University with a degree in Management and Organizational Leadership and is a certified Sr. Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and a Global Mobility Specialist (GMS). Debbie has served on the Pacific Northwest Relocation Council Board of Directors, and the Portland Relocation Council, and is currently the President of PRC.

Siobhan Cummins
Advisory Board Member
Currently the Head of Global Mobility at Naspers, Siobhan has worked within Global Mobility for over 27 years and has extensive experience of complex mobility transformation projects covering mobility strategy, policy design & implementation and process management at companies such as Mercer, Thomson Reuters, Deloitte and EY.
Siobhan also has a wealth of experience running networking groups for Global Mobility professionals across Europe and the Middle East.

Julia Onslow-Cole
Advisory Board Member
Julia is a Partner focusing in Global Government Strategies and Compliance who divides her time between Fragomen’s London and Dubai offices. In an increasingly challenging geopolitical environment, Fragomen’s unique Advisory Practice supports clients worldwide to optimise global mobility strategies, enhance compliance and leverage best practice in all critical immigration-related policies including crisis management. In addition, Julia advises private clients on complex international migration solutions.
Before joining Fragomen, Julia was a Partner, Legal Markets Leader and Head of Global Immigration at PwC leading complex multi-jurisdictional client engagements and providing strategic global immigration advice. Julia has advised several governments on major projects encompassing visa processing systems, residency legislation, communications and citizenship by investment programmes. Julia liaised with the UK government and business on Brexit and has given expert evidence at the European Parliament. She has also represented business at the UK Prime Minister’s immigration stock take meeting and was a formal advisor to the Home Office on business, investment and growth. She continues to participate in stakeholder engagement with the UK government and liaises closely with governments in the Middle East.
Julia was appointed to the Society for Human Resource Management’s Immigration Specialty Panel. She also sits on the board of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the board of the Permits Foundation and the board of Labor Mobility Partnerships.
Julia is also the Chair of the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute Charitable Trust and is on the board of Breaking Barriers and has recently joined the Board of Directors of the newly established Dubai International Chamber, an appointment approved by the ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed.
In 2021, Julia was presented with the Outstanding Contribution to Global Mobility Award by the Forum for Expatriate Management.
Julia is the co-signatory of a number of reports on the impact of migration and is publicly recognized as a thought leader in global immigration.

Nicelle Galeano
Advisory Board Member
Nicelle Galeano is an internationally-recognised Global Mobility expert with a wealth of experience working for corporate powerhouses nationally and internationally.
She has informed, influenced and transformed the way many businesses approach mobility with her expertise spanning professional services, engineering, construction, mining, information technology and social infrastructure.
Well-versed in designing and implementing innovative strategy across a wide range of mobility areas; Nicelle is recognised as a thought leader in Global Talent Management, Global Remuneration and Benefits, International Human Resources, Emerging Markets, International Tax Compliance and Global Risk Management.
Part of the Steering Committee for the Forum of Expatriate Management and an active member of the Employee Mobility Institute and Worldwide ERC, she has been recognised through numerous FEM EMMA awards including most recently:

- Best Redesign of Global Mobility Strategy (Highly Commended), 2019

Nicelle holds a Bachelor of Business, from Queensland University of Technology where she majored in Human Resource Management. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and hitting the park with her son.
