Mobility teams are sitting on a wealth of data, but all too often those insights remain buried in systems, reports or technical silos. Accessible AI is changing that by making mobility intelligence easier to surface, interpret and share with the people making workforce and talent decisions. This session will explore how non-technical AI tools can help Mobility move from reporting activity to shaping business strategy, improving collaboration, strengthening decision-making and raising Mobility’s profile as a strategic partner to the business.

During the Covid era, Global Mobility teams were firmly in the spotlight, with their expertise in high demand and their role widely recognised as having earned a seat at the leadership table. Five years on, the function has evolved significantly: managing a broader range of mobility types, navigating geopolitical uncertainty, responding to an increasingly complex compliance environment, and often doing so with fewer resources. This panel will examine whether Mobility is still regarded by the business as a strategic partner, or whether perceptions are shifting back toward a more transactional view of the function. Panellists will discuss how Mobility teams can protect and strengthen their strategic role while adapting to changing workforce expectations, talent priorities, and business demands.

Breakout 2

Global mobility RFPs are evolving rapidly. AI is changing how provider proposals are created, evaluated and compared, making responses more polished and increasingly difficult to differentiate. At the same time, procurement teams are demanding greater transparency around pricing and value, while employee experience, wellbeing and post-relocation support are becoming critical measures of programme success.

So how can mobility leaders cut through the noise and identify the provider that's the right fit for their programme?

In this practical session, we'll explore what leading organisations are prioritising, how AI is reshaping the RFP process and why the most important answers often go beyond what's written in the proposal. We will also discuss how to uncover hidden costs, evaluate the people behind the response, assess team chemistry and partnership fit. In addition, we will discuss the qualities that drive stronger, more resilient mobility programmes in the long term.
Attendees will leave with actionable steps to strengthen their next RFP, ask better questions, and ensure they're selecting not just the best proposal, but the best partner to help build a stronger mobility programme for their organisation and their employees and families.

In Partnership with Caroline Stroner, Global Mobility Manager, Reward at AWE alongside Simon Johns and Ruth Lyons at Sterling Lexicon

Breakout 3

As Mobility continues to evolve into a more strategic partner to the business, relationships with senior stakeholders has never been more important. This interactive breakout session will explore how Mobility teams can build, strengthen and sustain these relationships, while examining the role technology can play in enhancing both business engagement and employee experience.
• What it takes for Mobility to be recognised as a credible strategic adviser.
• How technology can support efficiency and more consultative business engagement.
• Who technology should serve: Mobility teams, business users and mobile employees.
• Which self-service tools, including chatbots, could deliver the greatest impact.
In Partnership with Izabela Rai, Senior Immigration Manager at Baker Hughes alongside Gareth Davies and Caitlin Slattery at Equus Software

Breakout 4

Technology and AI are now part of almost every global mobility conversation but are they truly transforming the function, or simply making familiar processes faster? This interactive session will cut through the hype and explore where technology is creating real value, where progress is still incremental, and what needs to happen next.
Delegates will share how their organisations are using technology and AI today, from practical wins to areas where expectations have yet to match reality. Together, the group will consider whether these tools are driving real change in mobility or just being added onto existing processes.
The session will close with an “art of the possible” discussion, drawing on examples from GEP and The Cozm to prompt fresh thinking about the next phase of technology-enabled mobility. Delegates will leave with a clearer view of how to distinguish hype from meaningful change and what they want to achieve for their mobility function within the next 18 months.
In Partnership with Soren Sturup-toft, Immigration and Global Mobility lead EMEA at Databricks alongside alongside Global Expat Pay and The Cozm

Breakout 5

Social security is often still managed as an afterthought to tax, but it is increasingly becoming a strategic global mobility issue. Greater data visibility, changing EU rules, business travel, cross-border remote working and non-traditional mobility are reshaping compliance risks and employers need to ensure they are not caught out. Couple this with employee experience - the ability to obtain an immigration permission, access to healthcare and consideration of pension entitlements in the future, all mean that employers need to be on the front foot. Delegates will leave with a clear understanding of the latest international social security developments, including the new UK–India Social Security Agreement, evolving EU coordination rules, A1 certificate requirements and the practical implications of increasingly flexible cross-border working patterns. The session will translate the latest international social security developments into practical priorities for global mobility programmes, with a focus on compliance risk and the employee experience.

In Partnership with Puneeta Suri, Global Mobility Lead at Genpact UK Ltd alongside Rehana Earle and Dhruv Tanna at Andersen

Breakout 6

Breakout 6

Global Mobility technology is moving fast, all but too often, the conversation is focused on improving the way things work today.
This session takes a pause to explore what Global Mobility could look like if we designed it around the technology now available to us. What processes would disappear? What becomes possible? What can be made simpler? And, how can technology change the role and value of Mobility itself?
This is an interactive, hands-on session where attendees will challenge conventional thinking, explore new possibilities and work through what a future Mobility model could actually look like.
